After a completely crazy start to 2020 and with billions people stuck inside, at least SimCity BuildIt fans have something to celebrate with the new 2020 App Update.

Available to download on Apple AppStore and Google Play, the app update ushers in a new Mayor's Pass Seasons allowing players to add lush foliage and provide your Sims with a more sustainable type of lifestyle.

The Revive Your City update introduces the following upgrades and benefits:

• Build ecologically with the Repurposed Airplane and the Thrift Shop

• Healthy eating made easy for your Sims at the new Vegan Restaurant. 

• Specialist pet care for their cats and dogs with the new Vet Clinic

• Introduction of new types of rewards for the Seasons.

• Greenways to add recreational greenery in your city landscapes.

Update now so you can have fun building a better city (and world).

SimCity BuildIt Paris Town Update

After a relatively quiet two months SimCity BuildIt is back with the amazing Paris Town App Update!

App Version 1.6.4 lets you build Paris Town in your city and allows you to create beautiful new neighborhoods as well as boost your population using world-famous Parisian landmarks.

The SimCity Paris Update also includes the following upgrades and benefits:

• Build your Airport sooner at just 140,000 population
• Deliver and earn Parisian Special Items with Airport cargo shipments to unlock the special Parisian customization pack
• Buy and sell Parisian Special Items on the Global Market
• Helipads now have helicopters so you can bring your sky to life!

I have just downloaded this newest update and will report back later on the new additions which should help re-enliven the already fun to play game.

SimCity BuildIt Faster Commercial Buildings Upgrade

On 28^th July SimCity BuildIt launched the second big update in just over a month with the Commercial Upgrade Update.

This update focuses on the commercial buildings in SimCity by providing a way to update each building up to 3 times for an investment of Simoleans.

The first upgrade increases the speed that you can build items by 10%, the second upgrade increases the speed by 15% and the third upgrade by 20%.

This includes the following commercial buildings:

• Building Supplies Store
• Hardware Store
• Farmer’s Market
• Furniture Store
• Gardening Supplies
• Donut Shop
• Fashion Store
• Fast Food Restaurant
• Home Appliances

Upgrades can be made once you reach level 13 and more upgrades are unlocked as you reach higher levels with the costs starting from 12,000 Simoleans and going as high as 60,000.

The new update also includes various behind-the-scenes improvements for overall performance of the game although it isn’t specified what these exactly are.
