4 Annoying Updates of the Global Trade HQ and 2020 Tips to Succeed!

4 Annoying Updates of the Golbal Trade HQ and Tips to Succeed!
Item Already Sold? You're too Slow!

Since the launch of SimCity BuildIt there has been one standout feature that has provided the most annoyance and frustration and that is the Global Trade HQ. Here are some of the top annoyances along with 2020 tips to succeed the best you can against a flawed and overloaded system:

1) Timelock Features vs Refresh

The most major recent change has been with the way EA has reformatted the bidding system, Before I was easily able to purchase a range of expansion, storage and other key items under maximum cost which allowed me the choice to use it or simply flip it for cash in the early stages when it is at a low.

What the Timelock has appeared to do is limit the amount of items you can look for and their compromise is the 30 second Refresh button.

In this case all it has done is pushed up prices and decreased regular availability. I can still buy and sell but now at many more times of the day it is just impossible to get what I need, not matter how long I try.

SimCity BuildIt April App Update with 4 Key Changes of Importance

SimCity BuildIt April App Update with 4 Key Changes of Importance

A new update was released on iOS (and presumably on android as well) in the April for the ever popular SimCity BuildIt Mobile App.

It is a minor update but includes four key changes of importance:

  1. Behind the scenes technical improvements to fix occasional game crashes related to the Global HQ and Trade Depot.
  2. Building Upgrade Bubbles no longer randomly change place.
  3. No more "impossible" Cargo Ship Challenges (where they need too many items with not enough time to produce them).
  4. Mayor Daniel is now also selling City Limit Expansion items, Dr. Vu items and inventory expansion items.
While not life-changing these update out to help improve general game-play and overall opportunities to trade and expand more smoothly and quickly!

On the 3rd of March 2015 SimCity BuildIt issued it's first major update since the initial launch back in November and it has come with a lot of interesting changes that improve gameplay and add more interesting aspects that both existing and newer players can appreciate.

SimCity BuildIt "Tokyo Town" Update - Reboot & Saving Background
Known officially as the "Tokyo Town Update" these are the 6 Steps Forward and 2 Steps Back that I have encountered since downloading the SimCity BuildIt update four days ago:

4 Profitable Daily Tips & City Tricks from SimCity BuildIt's Mayor Daniel

Don't Waste 4 Profitable Opportunities from Mayor Daniel and his City:

After the useful introduction to Mayor Daniel during the initial tutorial and early levels many players completely forget about Mayor Daniel, I know I did this up until I reached the levels where the Trade Depot and Global Trade HQ are opened up when I realized what an opportunity I had been wasting.

1) Hitting Daniel's Trade Depot every 24 Hours

Buying All Items from Mayor Daniel's Trade Depot Every 24 Hours in SimCity BuildIt
Every single day you have the chance to buy a range of 6 items from Mayor Daniel's Trade Depot - at least half of these items will be hard to come by or hard/longtime to make and all of the items will be selling at RRP (Recommended Retail Price) which means you can either use them to upgrade buildings or you can jack up the price by 10 to 100 per item, sell them in your Trade Depot and make a quick 500-1,000 Simoleans every 24 hours.

Who is Mayor Daniel in SimCity BuildIt and how to Connect to Him?

Introduction to Mayor Daniel, his City and his Trade Depot:

Early on in the game every player gets introduced to Mayor Daniel who is the Mayor of your first neighbouring city and the purpose of this meeting is two-fold:

1) Learning How to Make Connections with Other Cities

This is to show you that other cities can be added as friends later when you connect to them via Facebook. By connecting to other cities it means you can also easily visit your friend's Trade Depot and they can easily visit yours increasing the chances of your buying and selling the items that you want at a price that is reasonable.
